Driver FAQs

How do I become a Dubee driver?

To become a Dubee driver, you need to complete our online registration form, provide required documentation (driver’s license, vehicle registration, etc.), and pass a background check. Once approved, you’ll receive your driver kit and can start accepting rides.

Dubee takes only 10% commission from each ride, which is significantly lower than other ride-sharing platforms. This means you keep 90% of your fare, helping you earn more for your time and effort.
As a Dubee driver, you’ll receive a unique referral code. When new drivers sign up using your code, you’ll receive a bonus. Additionally, when riders use your code while making donations, you’ll get credit on our leaderboard and become eligible for special rewards.

Vehicles must be 10 years old or newer, have 4 doors, and be in good condition with no cosmetic damage. All vehicles must pass a safety inspection and have current registration and insurance.

Drivers receive payments weekly via direct deposit to their nominated bank account. You can track your earnings in real-time through the Dubee driver app.

Rider FAQs

How does the donation system work?
Riders can support Dubee’s launch by making a donation through our website. For every dollar donated, you’ll receive $10 in ride credits when we launch. For example, a $10 donation gets you $100 in ride credits.
When making a donation, you’ll have the option to enter a driver’s referral code. This helps support that specific driver and may qualify them for special rewards. You can get referral codes from drivers directly or from promotional materials.

We’re planning to launch first in Melbourne in early 2025, with expansion to other Australian cities throughout the year. Sign up for our newsletter to receive updates about our launch schedule.

Dubee will offer competitive pricing that is typically 10-15% lower than other ride-sharing platforms. Our lower commission structure allows us to pass savings on to riders while still ensuring drivers earn more.
Dubee prioritizes safety with features like in-app emergency assistance, ride sharing with trusted contacts, driver background checks, vehicle inspections, and 24/7 support.
